Terms and policies

Payment Terms and Product Storage:  All purchases must be paid in full before delivery or release of product for pick up.  Full payment may be made by Cash, Cheque, Major Credit Card, or Financing.  We will happily store your purchase for a maximum of 90 days for free of charge.  After 90 days, there will be a charge of $10 per piece per month. 

 

Cancellations, Returns and Re-selections:  You may cancel your order at any time before the delivery or pick up of the product that you have selected without penalty unless you have custom ordered the product from the manufacturer.  In the case of custom order product and appliances, it will be treated as a final sale item with standard repair or replace warranty as dictated by the manufacturer.  After you have taken delivery of your product, you will have 48 hours to report any damage in order to arrange for an exchange.  Standard warranty procedure must be followed after the initial 48 hours from delivery or pick up has expired.  In the event that the product does not fit into your home, we will return the product to the store and allow you a full credit in the store to select a product that will fit.  All AS IS and clearance product are FINAL SALE and must be picked up or delivered within 3 business days.

 

Price Guarantee:  We will guarantee the lowest price in our market for the next 30 days after your purchase of new furniture, mattresses or appliances.  If you find the identical product with a lower advertised price that meets the same terms and conditions, we will match it!  Offer is not valid on clearance items, Black Friday, Boxing Day specials, limited time offers or limited quantity items.

 

Delivery Service Terms:  We will be happy to uncrate/unwrap your furniture and appliances and place them in your home for you.  We do require your assistance to ensure that you are completely satisfied and our delivery team remains safe.  With that in mind we ask that you follow a few simple guidelines.  Please ensure that all lanes are clear of ice, snow, children’s toys, bikes etc… In the case of new buildings, you must have clear and reasonable access to the home in order for the delivery team to safely proceed.  In cases where it would be dangerous to access the home, we will be happy to drop off the furniture/appliances in the garage or make arrangements for an alternate delivery date.

 

Furniture and Mattresses:  We will remove all wrapping and ensure that the product is fully assembled and placed in your room of choice.  Please ensure that hallways and paths to the room are free of obstacles and that the old furniture is ready to be moved out of the room.  We will remove the old furniture or mattress from your home for a fee - see below.

 

Appliances:  We will remove all wrapping and packaging ensuring the product is free of any damage and visible defects.  Our delivery team will place all appliances in the spots that you designate and plug in or hook up the appliances with a few exceptions.  The delivery team will not connect or disconnect gas, plumbing or hard wired electrical appliances due to the fact that they are not licenced and the store will not be liable.  In the case of dryer venting, the hose must be in good repair and made of metal.  We will not hook up plastic vents or washer hoses that appear to be rusted or leaking.  We will remove the old appliances for a fee - see below.  Appliances that are in good working order and can be donated will be removed for free and taken to the MCC.
